CONTEMPORARY HOME - BUCKINGHAMSHIRE
A new home in Buckinghamshire has been upgraded and styled by the clients and their interior designers into a beautifully contemporary and stylish home. The client wanted a statement piece of art for the cool white sitting room. They requested something with a retro feel, that worked within a modern room.
Inspiration was taken from the use of circles elsewhere in the room design and the client and interior designer both felt that the final design met their brief perfectly.
The red panel is painted directly onto the wall. The four 2 foot round canvases are mounted on the panel creating a 3D effect. Each canvas is heavily textured and finished with a high gloss gel. The three white canvases are mounted at the bottom of the panel whilst the red is mounted with the texture running vertically and hangs from the top of the panel. The artwork measures 12 feet by 30 inches.
The result is a completely unique piece of art that reflects the shapes and colours used elsewhere in the room and meets the client's desire for contemporary with a retro twist.

Villa - Southern Spain
These two pieces were commissioned for a contemporary villa in Southern Spain. The colour scheme in the living room is chocolate brown with highlights of copper.
The room is open plan to the dining area which continues the theme of chocolate but this time with highlights of turquoise.
The brief was to connect the two schemes and add a third colour to provide a striking contrast.
The cool white walls of the villa provide a perfect backdrop for the vibrant art. The client has stated that the artworks not only look fantastic in their setting, but provide a real wow factor in the villa's living space!
New House - Essex
The client requested a large piece of art for their dining room.
They wanted a strong focal point in the room which is decorated in neutral colours with traditional furniture. The soft aqua of the upholstery in the room was the colour inspiration for the aqua highlights in the metal leaf. The red provides the room with a splash of vibrant colour and, as it can be seen from the hallway, ties in with the use of red in other areas of the house.
The painting comprises two canvases each measuring 40 inches by 16 inches which, when hung, gave an overall size of 40 inches by 33 inches.
Again, photos of the painting in it's room setting will be coming shortly.
